We watched the sun set from our spot right by the lake.It was so peaceful. The full moon rising over the lake was beautiful.
That night the rain set and it was wet all the next day. There is lots of bird life at Lake Elphinstone. They don't mind the rain. We hunkered down under the awning looking out on the lake reading books, binocular work on birds, doing puzzles and watched a video in the evening. There is no power, poor phone reception and internet so no distractions. I think we need some down time as we've done a lot of kilometres these past few days.
