The Endless Pipeline.

I walked around in the morning and checked out the old school, no longer operational. Sad really to see little communities that are no longer.

Then it was off eastwards down the highway to Kalgoorlie with the pipeline at our side. This pipeline carries water over 450 miles to Norseman via Kalgoorlie, an engineering marvel.

The day provided blue skies, lots of saltbush and those amazing salmon gums.

We stopped and walked about at Southern Cross and Coolgardie.

Kalgoorlie still has that lazy, cold wind. It looks beautiful, the sun is warm but the breeze cuts right through. We're here for two nights.
